Installing custom nodes

This article explains how to install and manage custom nodes in ComfyUI Local and Desktop.

Q. How do I install custom nodes?

Custom nodes can be installed in ComfyUI Local(including Manual, Portable) and Desktop environments.

The easiest and recommended method is to use Custom Nodes Manager, which lets you browse, install, and manage nodes directly.

Q. Is Custom Nodes Manager available on Comfy Cloud?

No.

Custom Nodes Manager is only available in local ComfyUI environments.

Comfy Cloud provides a managed environment and supports a growing list of pre-installed custom nodes instead.

To browse supported nodes in Cloud:

• Open Comfy Cloud

• Open the Nodes tab from the left sidebar
