Unexpected credit usage & charges
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This article explains common situations where your credit usage may look unexpected.
Q. My generation failed but I got charged
In some cases, credits may still be consumed even if generation does not complete successfully. This can happen because credits are consumed during execution rather than only after a successful output.
Before contacting support, please check:
Whether the workflow partially executed
Whether Partner Nodes were involved
For Grok workflows, note that moderation-related processing may still consume credits even if generation does not complete, depending on the Partner Nodes pricing and moderation policy
Your Credit History for usage details
If the charge still looks incorrect, please contact support:
Please select "Credits issue" as the Billing category.
Q. The credit amount deducted looks different from what I expected
Credit usage may vary depending on factors such as:
Cloud GPU runtime (currently 0.266 credits per second)
Generation settings
Partner Nodes used
Model configuration and parameters
To review usage:
Open your profile menu
Select Manage plan
Open Credit History
For Partner Nodes pricing details:
👉 See Comfy Docs - Parter Nodes Pricing
If the usage still looks incorrect after reviewing your history, please contact support:
Please select "Credits issue" as the Billing category.
Q. Why is my balance negative?
Credits are not intended to work as a negative balance or credit line.
However, in some cases, usage may temporarily exceed your remaining balance due to timing differences in usage reporting and result in a temporary negative balance after execution completes.
If your balance becomes negative, you may not be able to continue supported usage until your balance becomes positive again.
You can restore access by adding credits to return your balance to a positive balance.
If you believe the balance is incorrect:
Please select "Credits issue" as the Billing category.
