How credits work in Comfy

This article explains how credits work across Comfy products.

Q. How do credits work?

Credits are used when using supported paid features across Comfy, including GPU runtime for Comfy Cloud and Parter Nodes usage across Comfy.

Your available credits may come from:

  • Monthly credits included with your Comfy Cloud subscription

  • Additional top-up credits purchased separately

For monthly credits, amounts for Comfy Cloud depend on your current plan.

Q. Can I use the same credits across Cloud and Local?

Yes. Credits can be used across both Comfy Cloud and supported usage in ComfyUI Local.

This includes credits received through subscriptions and purchased top-ups.

Q. What uses credits?

Credits are consumed in two main cases:

  • Partner Nodes usage

  • GPU runtime for Comfy Cloud

For Cloud GPU runtime, credits are currently consumed based on active GPU usage (currently 0.266 credits per second).

Q. How does Partner Nodes pricing work?

Partner Nodes consume credits from the same balance used across Comfy.

Credit usage depends on the model and parameters used.

Q. How are credits calculated?

Credits in Comfy are converted based on the current rate:

$1 = 211 credits

The amount of credits you receive depends on the amount purchased.

Q. Can my credit balance go negative?

Credits are not intended to work as a negative balance or credit line.

However, in some cases, usage may temporarily exceed your remaining balance due to timing differences in usage reporting and result in a temporary negative balance after execution completes.

If your balance becomes negative, you may not be able to continue supported usage until your balance becomes positive again.

Q. How do I check my current balance and usage?

To view your current balance and usage history:

  1. Open your profile menu

  2. Select Manage plan

  3. Open Credit History

Credit history allows you to review your credit consumption over time.

Please note that credits consumed per run may vary depending on factors such as generation settings and usage.
